Default MFi Turbo Fuel Shut off?

Hi guys, just wondering does the RS Turbo (MFI) have a fuel 'shut off' system on the overrun like the RS1600i/XR3i's, and if so how does it work on the RS Turbo?

If you not sure what im talking about on the RSi/3i its the little shut off valve thats on the side of the metering unit induction hose which operates when you take your foot off the throttle.

Anyone?

Thanks for looking

Not sure to be honest although the rs turbo does have a throttle pot which I dont think the 3i / 16i do. So this may be where fuel cut off is triggereed perhaps.

Yes it does. Above around 1800rpm, the fuel ecu drops fuel pressure significantly. Note it's not a complete shut off.

RST has a overrun fuel shut off, but it's very differrently realized than in the XR3i. XR3i has a valve that opens and connect the air chambers above and below the plunger plate making it go to zero postition. RST has an electric mixture control that is been taken to full lean on overrun.

Electric-hydraulic. Operated by the blue thing on the side of the metering unit
