have you had anything shaved off it? IIRC you have to have the lip removed to make it fit between the inner wing and the pulley...

As Wes says they usually need skimming to get the minimal clearance to fit them

Its always a shitter when things don't go to plan

Looking at the picture i didnt realise they need skimming that much

I'm changing my flywheel i was going to fit the sierra pulley which i will be happier with i think

dont blame you its just i had everything out and striped last year for full rebuild and i planned on keeping it together so was hoping for an external conversion.

but ive had the car nearly four years spent at least 14.67 squilion hours rebuilding modifying and polishing and i just have no enthusiasm for the old girl.been busy with my other car and now my ibizas going im looking out for a cossie so even less time for her.anybody wanna live at mine for a couple of days eat n drink all ya want finish my car then go home with Ł100 in ya back pocket

gotta admit she still makes me smile when i look at her

You dont need to drop the engine out to get that crank pulley off matey, just put a piece of wood under the sump and a jack, remove the 3 (13mm bolts i think) of the back of the left engine mount, remove earth strap and jack the engine up to get clearance to get a bar on the pulley nut

ive had mine off and off loads of times on my efi conversion

well its sat on mounts now and its actually touching the chassis so it needs mega room to move i had to evenly drop engine to fit it
