There is a way to repair the cracks in the dash, there was a thread on here not too long ago.

As for the vents, I got rid of mine and put these there.... lol

Get up the meet with it mate!

'Apparently' there's a guy in Southampton that can repair them TOP notch, so it looks like it never cracked in the first place!

Windscreen out job though so i've heard, but then if you want it done right you've got to pay the money!

Where you keep your's outside too mate, ALWAYS ALWAYS cover the dash with a towel or sheet or something!

Only problem with that is he now can't stop doing that or the dash will dry out very quickly and crack immediately

spent a weekend redoing mine

dash out , strip

remove all the raised bits with a stanley knife and filled it with body filler
i made up ally blanking plates for the vents
i then used accoustic carpeting as used on speaker boxes and contact glue and a shit load of patience to get it smooth - can be done
i removed the radio and ashtray in he centre console and made up a plate to blank this whole lot off - now have plenty of space for gauges and management as well as a fuse box and a solenoid 2 stage boost control
