boost controller
looking to get a chip soon to allow more boost so lookin for a boost controller to sort it out. any recomendations for a good one to get? would like a digital one but thinking its best to start with a manual controller to get me started.
also to run more than the standard 7psi will i need to get a -31 actuator?
cheers chris

best thing to do is set the actuator to a half moon mate....
then pull the arm over the pin...
then u got little white/black jets in the amal valve.... i think they r in the (A) atmosphere pipe and in the (C) compressor pipe.
u need to make the whole bigger in the atmosphere jet and/or smaller to the compressor jet... best to get it done by a tuner in my opinion tho matey...

personally i do not agree with usin bleedvalves if thats wot u r referrin to... althought there will b 100's of ppl who will say their cars r fine usin them...
but its not hard nor expensive to use ur amal valve to control it and is wot the car was usin from day 1...
Air injectors or like a HKS/Blitz boost controller will b best to use if money not issue..

if i can get hold of an avcr or the like for a good price i'd fit one of them as its another gadget lol.
i'll look into the amal valve thing though, never knew about changing the size of inlet/outlet for psi

Got a greddy electronic boost controller on mine now, money well spent imo, no more fuckin about with bleed valves or amal valves. Just set the boost u want and it holds the same boost throughout the gears....good for makin small adjustments to the boost pressure as well
