i'm fitting efi to my erst i have all the bits apart from the ecu the question is how can i tell if its a ofac or a ofab loom ??????????
also i have been told you need the correct type map sensor
how do you tell which is which ????????? please help

what colour is the big connector for the ecu?

you can tell by the map sensor ofab has a webber marelli one and ofac has the ford digital one,id go for ofab personaly its more tunable

whats better ofab or ofac wont to run apx 200bhp

i think the ofab map sensor can handle more boost than the ofac, but either is fine for 200bhp

my loom is ofac and my target is also 200bhp, been told beige injectors, 195chip, - actuator, should see me around that mark, mayb above it with a better intercooler

are you doing it to a erst and are you using a xr3i loom or a fiesta loom i see your in surrey just round the corner from me if you are using the frst loom how far are you into it ?????

yeh its on my s2, i finished my conversion about 4 wks ago, just doing the tunning side of it when i get some more money ive used the xr3i loom, i kept my mfi head and used a adapter plate to fit the inlet, ive got a early block on mine so i went for the sierra crank pulley way for the cps

i could not find a xr loom so im fitting the frst loom into my erst loom

I wired up the fuel pump and injectors and joined it to the ofac loom
