Hi peeps. Just bought an A Reg XR3i for £50. . . Bargain ! Bodywork shagged, just bought it to strip it and get some hands on experience with the Mk3 escort. What will fit my S1 ? Alternator, fuel pump etc or are they different ratings ? Is the fuel tank the same as this one is near mint. cheeRS in advance

Tank will fit, fuel pump will fit although theres doubt whether the pump is the same as the RS's or not. Alternator will fit, most of it is the same.

Are the door cards any good? And do they have blue piping? PM if so

Thanx mate. The alternator is the same output is it ? Fuel tank looks almost new and does look the same as my S1 but not had chance to have a decent look yet.

Dash already in the wheelie bin mate

Door cards in good nick but need a bit of a clean but not too dirty but have red piping mate, sorry.

It should be the same output, have a look on the label on yours, i think you will find its 55A, only later S2's have a 70A IIRC.

I only run a 55A on my cabby and thats got the biggest battery i could fit in the try
