Default Please please help, im really desprate.

Went to start my rs today for the first time after buying it.
It started ok and i left it for a couple of minutes and it was idle ing a bit crappy, i gave it a few revs to about 1 and a half rpm then let off and it was trying to die, i then took it to about 2rpm then let off and it cut out. Please can anyone give me any idea what could be wrong with my car. This really hacked me off as ive only just got it.
Ive got to go to a bbq now but as i say pretty pretty please leave your suggestions and i will get back on asap. Thank you all very very much

Could be your idle adjuster for mix.

Have you checked all hoses for any splits ?

Do you have a dump valve ?

check dipstick is in the tube correctly ,check oil cap is on tight , check all boost hose clamps are tight as rs turbo engines dont idle with air leaks

Thank you all very much, im going to have a swift look over simple things on the car such as plug leads etc, and then if i have no joy im going to take it to well-lane in leeds (its only 5 mins away) and get them to have a look and sort it out. Adam, maybe your right, mabye your wrong only time will tell, but obviously i hope i havent and im pretty confident it will all work out in the end.
