Genuine ford stainless exhaust ?

Removed a full exhaust system off my s1 last month. had a look at it today and it seems to be stainless there is a ford logo and part no. 1659602 on the silencer box this system is in good condition can anybody tell me if this is standard or is it just a s2 system or? cheers for any help

Ford did do a handfull of stainless systems for the Escort RST. Riock on here has one iirc

Thats definately got to be a rare beastie and worth a few pennies then, especially if its a proper S1 exhaust (as in goes through the rear suspension arm)

I seem to remember him saying he had a Power Engineering exhaust? I have been known to be wrong though

Ricks may be a Power Engineering jobbie then

The Escort RST that was used in the buyers guide in PF a while back had a Ford Stainless on it and it did give some info on them.

Pipework is dofo stainless welds and hanger brackets arnt. ends of backbox is stainless but the piece of silencer were part numbers are looks like it is standard steel hasnt started to rot yet tho. carnt post any pics yet. yes it is for sale wen i find out wat it is for. wont fit my s1 anymore
