Well, the usual place i jack the rear up is on the rear arms but u wont want to do that to change the shocks. The other strong point is just forward of where the rear tie bars are bolted to the car.

You know where i mean? Shocks are easy to change, first thing u should do though is spray the brake pipe where it bolts to the shock with WD40 and leave it to soak, guaranteed to be seized up and rusty

Hi thanks mae I think I know where u mean. So basically just jack it up there undo the shocks and pop new ones in? The suspension wont drop or anything when I remove the old shocks will it? I have soaked the brake pipe bolts so should be fine. Thanks

Jack it up there, obviosuly good practice and for safety you shouldnt work on the car without axle stands incase the jack decides to bail out. I always like to put rolled up rag on the jack to stop metal on metal contact and paint being scraped off.

Best way is to remove the pipes, then undo the 2 bottom bolts through the hub, and then get the nut off the shock and pull it out, and re-fit in reverse order
