So the pump doesn't run at all with a relay?

What colour wire are you bridging from?

bridging from the ignition live feed also works bridged from battery live feed so i know they are working ok i was thinking could it be the Coil negative feed ?

So are you bridging from the Black on the fuel pump relay plug? It WONT be the coil negative, i can see your thinking though, but the prime is activated from the ignition going live, and the relay will also turn on from LT signals, the fact you are getting neither means another fault.

I presume the car will run if you bridge the relay?

My guess, is you have popped a fuse for the permenant 12v supply to the relay.

Check for:

Permenant 12v on the Red (where my money is on the fault being)
Switched 12v on the black
Ground/Earth on the Brown

Black red on relay plug is fuel pump negative, you put a live direct to it to test the pump, failing that have terminals corroded.
