Just thought i'd put a couple of pics up after pulling the RS out for the summer. Will post some more pics soon when it's been cleaned properly.

I know Phil H and our mate Sweed have just taxed there RS's too for the summer, and just wondering how many othert people have done the same for the start of next month.

Awesome feeling to be back out in them i'm sure you'll agree after a long winter. Hope you all have fun.

One of Ian Howell's engines mate. 2.1 with all the bits. Full low comp b'end, Jim G head, T34 with modifications, Pectel T2, custom made inlet and exhaust manifolds etc, etc. The list is endless. Only running 18psi at the moment tho.

Will be live mapped in the next month to take it upto 28psi we hope.

Yep, taxed mine on 15th so as to avoid the price increase car hasn't seen the rioad yet though mind, only been out the garage to put her road wheels on and put the steelies away until October.............having belt changed tomorrow and fitting the breather kit too

I just taxed mine today...It's been a long 6 months! - will be using it this weekend

Won't be till probably past summer until I can feel some real power though

mines been fully stripped ready to return to the lincoln roads for the summer...hopefully! everything is being replaced...including the engine! AGAIN Should've got a proper one the first time round!

Hi there

Just been looking through my other half (SIDZVH), dyno figures from Harvey Gibbs and Power on his Old Spec was 298bhp @ 18psi, but that was at 7020 rpm. The engine was well over 300 then but since the Dyno session Ian H has changed the Spec and it stills needs to be mapped.

He'll be happy for 350+, anything's a bonus after this, he's told me.
I've just been out in it today to give it a run as we've not had it on the road since Novembers MEGA THRASH and i have to say when you open this machine up it GOES

Can't wait either. Would love to spend more time behind the wheel myself but my unfortunatley cause of job i can't.

Hoping to be at Central Day though to give it a run. Should have my propper box in by then and improve on my times. Can't believe that std box has lasted so long. Even all the abuse at Mega Thrash. Shame to take it out really.

as you stated before, my baby is indeed back on the road

went for a little run on sunday night, did 30 or so miles before it started to look like rain and went home.

as you well know at 16- 18 psi in the wet spells trouble!!!

was nice to have a play though. from the top round-about on the bypass to well before the bridge i hit 135 after getting traction high up in 3rd, made the old heart beat i can tell you.

looking forward to getting it live mapped and running some propper boost though now.

think the next time i drive it will be to central day, and boy is it gunna get trashed!!!! even thogh it will stil be running 16psi

What's happening with it now?

I broke mine (Sunnys old box) going up a hill! 3rd gear. Stripped 3rd gear bare.

Only put my old box in to get around in while it was being rebuilt. And it's still in! Poor thing.
