escort cosworth calipers
Do these fit the s2 or can they be modified to fit... Was gonna get 2wd one off sierra but have been offered these at cheaper price..
Any one know ?

yeah i have them on mine, pretty much direct fit IIRC, just need to space them out abit when used with 283mm cossie discs

So no machining is needed then? Is it still the case if I have standard wheels? Whats IIRC?

they're alrite, TBH i dont think the calipers are much better than standard RST ones, its just the fact that your upping the dia of the discs from 260mm to 283mm which makes it better braking
i am infact thinging of changing them to ST170 calipers & 300mm discs
oh yeah n they should still squeeze under your 15's but you cant go any bigger than that
you can get a adaptor plate so you can use your RST calipers with 283mm discs

Thats cool then, maybe stay with the standard calipers...
Any ideas on where to get the adapter plate from ?

think "mad for it" do them, sure there over your direction as well
also check ebay, always see em on there

i'm getting 2wd calipers for my series1 i've got 16 wheels on my car will these fit on ok and wot work is involved in gettin them on ?

From what I understand is that you need to machine 3mm off the mounting face of the caliper to make them fit..

im using 300 mm with the st calipers, works great for me, and my COMBI is fast enough to make them work too

yeah soz lynx, forgot you were keeping it on std 15"
300mm wont fit then, stick with the 283mm disc
