Traction
When i was at the PF meet tonight i noticed a couple of RST's going out along the wee straight, they seemed to suffer from loads of wheelspin, the road was very damp but when i went out and gave it everything 1st + 2nd and it just gripped
Do you think it could be the way the car is mapped as its got shite tyres on it

Mine is hopeless in 1st and 2nd.
3rd will spin in the dry at almost any speed. So, for example, if I am on the road and drop a cog to overtake someone, it will light the wheels up as I pull out. Also, if you are on a bumpy road, it will lose traction every time you hit a bump.
4th will spin in the roads are cold and slightly damp. When we were mapping and the roads were wet, it was spinning 4th all the way to the Rev limit.
That's with good wheel alignment.

If so, that won't do anything to help you get traction in a straight line, it's only when cornering that an ATB really comes into its own.

It all depends how heavy your foot is. Of course a RST will spin like crazy at first if you rev it high and dump the clutch, but good springs, dampers and wheel alignment at the front will help straight line traction.

No secret about it, i asked a valid question about traction in damp conditions, seems like its down to how the boosts, in my case it does it very well as it suffers from ZERO wheelspin.
In the dry i find it VERY hard to get it to spin 1st, 2nd
If i launch it obviously it will spin due to the increased revs

Mine's the same....and only runnin 15psi at the mo! Not too bad in a straight line in the dry but when it's wet and it comes on boost in 3rd it just lights em up! As said above, a nightmare when goin out to overtake!
