Default cylinderhead identity

hi bought an rs then the block cracked anyway in the cars paperwork theres a 500 quid receipt for a stage 4 head with big stainless valves n ported n flowed is there any way to tell on the head as ive fitted a new engine now and was gonna sell it on ebay if it is what it says it is,the valves look big almost to the end of the pot ,just dont wanna sell if its a standard one as how frequent these motors get replaced etc cheers

decided to rebuild this head now and stick it on mine any idea what power to expect with a high lift cam ,stage 1 chip, k.n filter scorpion 3.5 system 31actuater ,,,should this lift her over 200bhp when set up right cheers guys any ideas

I think you need a bigger cooler before you will be able to reach the 200 mark with your specs, thats about the only thin missing now

Have a look at Dave Bakers site. There are all sorts of formulae and explanations to help you calculate your expected power from the
size of your inlet valves www.pumaracing.co.uk
Also lots of other excellent information including the many ways
a lot of so called experts are using absolute waffle to separate
you from your dough.

depends on who done the head work mate you can buy a head for ฃ500 that will flow worse than a standard one who did the work on the head ?

yer i think it was burton power performance and its got stainless steel valves in
