Damo - I remember a while back you talked about the direct supply you fitted to your fuel pump, did you need anything to keep the voltage at 13.5volts?? - if so what??

 

Can I expect any problems? and where is the best place to put the axel stands so the car can sit on them for a week while I get the rear beam painted and the rear bushes / brakes etc. done?

Been offline for a few days


I just ran 2 wires through the car, direct from the battery (obviously fused at battery) one red one black, with a relay, I used the original fuel pump feed to switch the relay on, all it does is replaces the old crappy loom with nice new chunky wire... and as its direct from battery its a better power supply

 

Thanks for the info Damo, did you use the standard ford connector on top of the tank or did you use spade connetors?

 

I modded the std connector... pics on my thread
