Default Washer bottle help needed

Evening

I bought a new washer bottle because i thought one of my mounting lugs had broken off.

When i checked the new bottle against the old it looks like there shouldn't even be a lug where i though it had broken? But when i put the new bottle on the car it seems that there should be an extra mounting lug because there's a captive fixing for a torx screw.

Does anyone know if the bottle should be mounted here as well,

If it is, where can i get the extra bracket for the washer bottle?

If not, what the hell is it for?

Thanks in advance

So there should be something there then? Do you still have the piece? Does it have a part number on it?

Cheers mate

I would imagine when first manufactured trhey came wih the extra bracket, though newer item dont have it, as its probably just an escort washer bottle with an extra bracket on the ECos items, I had a broken arm on mine too, but I welded it back up

EVEN IF you find an extra bracket (Which I doubt) it will need welding on anyway, so you may aswell just weld it onto your old one and take the new one back
