Default Escort Cosworth front struct brace pics please

I want a stainless or polished alloy front struct brace. But dont want one that I have to put holes in the struct tops.
Has anyone got any pics and where from. Thanks

Weld it..... What I meen is I want it to bolt on the top structs where your shock is. But dont want the type that you have 2 put holes in the side of the structs.

You wont find a strut brace which doesnt require drilling... Unless you weld it

yeah its a bastard to fit. drill 4 holes and bolt them in. works a treat tho.

If you're after a strut brace Mate I'd seriously consider one from www.philloy.co.uk as I've just bought a rear one from them for my EsCos and the quality is absolutely top notch & at very reasonable prices too

front strut brace on an escos isnt really required i thought... as it was much stiffer than the sierra anyway due to the souble skins and the fact its shorter...?


another whole world of pain to work on anythingn on the engine though i bet

Blimey, it does take ages to remove 4 17mm nuts and bolts and just remove the bar!!!! NOT!!!

I would guess the struts would have to be removed to fit, to get access to the bolt nuts underneath to tighten up, unless, self tappers are used.

nope you can do it without taking the strut out but it is a bastard job

depends how tight it is when it comes to bolting it back up

The car is meant to be jacked up in the centre taking the front wheels off the ground when installed
