you all know the the ones that hold the shock in normally rubber, is it worth putting poly ones in??? as i am ordering ahmed springs tommorrow so i wanna know while the shocks are out is it worth me changing to these??



also to save me doing another topic in the front bumper there are normally the blanks on the sides to remove for the extra cooling. well when i bought the car these were removed ,but due to me getting myself the uprated coolers i wanted some to refit. went to ford and they were useless lad couldn't find them can anyone help me out there?? i don't want those alloy ones think they look rubbish.

the deflex full car kit comes with poly top mounts, so i fitted them, not had any problems with them

 

Mike is getting carbon items made, I imagine they will be avail on the generall market soon. he borrowed mine as a template, they wont be avail anymore, I would have thought..

 

i might make some more if anyones interested? they are real carbon and 2.5mm thick,prob be around £40pr, would need 10 buyers ideally

as for the blanks the carbon ones look good but i've been thinking and think that there not practical and wouldn't go with the rest of my car i may just make some templates up and make some plastic ones up

ill have a pair.

do you have to have them screw blanks too, think they look a bit out of place.... can you just use a normal black screw.?

 

They are FORD plastic push in things, they are what I would use IMO, but nothing to stop you using something else, but will be difficult to get to from behind...

 

i'm gonna use some JB weld to put a nut centre of the hole so i can use a hex bolt to fasten

you cant use a screw as the hole is too big,suppose you could use a nut/bolt though,anymore takers as i would need ten to make it worthwhile?
