number 055 is a funny one.. its definitely a Commemorative model I've been trying to translate it..
From what the guy was saying the previous owner told him it was a 'Motorsport' which would ring true to the article I found which said the French dismissed the 'Monte' and kept the original name.. From what I can work out the advert also states the car has had a colour change? my translater said 'Old propiétaire A remakes a blue complete painting pearly of Mercedes origin' but I'm not convinced the guy knows what he is selling as it looks like a mallard to me
Also I can't see it properly but does it have a sunroof as there is no mention in the advert that I could find in translation?

The previous owner told him it was a Motorsport but he says he thinks this isn't true as he's got some options (aircon, electric windows, ...) which a Motorsport doesn't have. He thinks it's a Martini as the interior is the same as the interior of the Martini.
Doesn't mention a sunroof anywhere.
Then he tells what has been done to the engine etc...
The previous owner resprayed the car in a dark blue that's normally a colour of a Mercedes.
He also mentions some faults the car has.
I don't think he knows exactly what he is selling either, but he seems to be pretty honest about the good and the bad points...

Im going to join too despite hearing bad things about membership etc. Surely though somebody in the club or people on here can help with this.
Im sure there would be loads of people who would want to see this happen and what better reward for you personally to see them all there!
keep it going
