Ok done some more research and the findings are a little odd
Yes 200 commemorative Esc Cos's where produced but not all of them where Monte's and not all of them where numbered either
The Monte was produced as everything we know in terms of colour trim levels etc and availible in Britain Germany France Holland and Belgium.. Apparently France rejected the 'Monte' and basically produced 'Motorsport' Esc Cos's like they had originally planned (no. 000 Demo car had Motorsport badges and no Monte).. I'm not sure whether this is 100% true thou but I have never seen a French Monte from memory but I have seen French 'Martini' editions which are identical in spec and have the same numbering as the Monte and due to their rarity I'd say there where never 200 'Martini' edtitions... plus so far the Martini's haven't duplicated numbers with Montes. Interestingly aswell the Martini's have two plaques the Motorsport one like the Monte in the Banana pod and a Martini one on the dash.
Heres the interesting bit Italy didn't want any of the commemorative Esc Cos's to start with but then changed there mind having white and blue Esc Cos with the same spec but no badging or dash number.
Which would explain this car's spec:-
The only commemorative model I don't understand are the Miki Biasion which where numbered X/120 but again there seem rare if 120 models where produced.. again they seem to be near identical trim to the Monte's
So we know 200 commemorative Esc Cos's where made but! how many where Monte's? and how many where Martini's, Itailian 'run out models' and Miki's(if any) ? Let alone the banded figure of 70-74 RHD Montes
I have a slight lead to a person at SVE if he is still there seeing as the RSOC aren't interested in helping.. SVE was that Dunton? it would make sense if it was as there are some press pics of the Monte demo there

hi paul
Martini edition´s don´t have a number, only available in Italy, Martini badge on the banana pod. Available in other color´s like the Monte i.e pacific blue, and with leather
Miki Biasion only available in Italy,in white 120 pcs. non lux version like it was sold in england as the motorsport edition.
the pic you´ve posted is the Italian last or final edition same spec as Monte,
not numbered in banana pod and orig escos wheel´s
Fact is the Info i got from some Tuner´s in Italy i.e M&R Motorsport or Pfeiffer Racing.
So in Italy there are 3 Edition´s available
