other than all the mountings across the bottom of the inlet manifold that bol;t direct to the head you shouldnt have anything else holding it to the head.

other than that, all you may have is a bracket from just below the inlet throttle to the engine mount!

But to have the head worked on ie...checked for flatness they will surely require those parts off.

The previous post said "other than the lower bolts", those are the ones I can't find....

You shouldnt have much problem getting them off, other than it being a bit fiddly if your doing it in situ.

But as Damo already said, you would be better off lifting the head and inlet out complete... then maybe stripping it down!

& Damo - Cheers
Car is finally on the road!

Probably best, I have the intake off now , but looking at the turbo side I think I will do just that a flex my muscles and lift it off in one go.

Intersting to see the breather now that was under the intake side as I have a "Breather can" to go on, but I know this discussion has taken place before but if you remove the old separator and use the curent holes at the bottom of that to make a new breather and the other a return feed, thats fine. Then use the other plug under the turbo on the block to act as another vent to go back to the top of my new can. (have I lost anyone yet?).

On the original separator there is a small hose that goes to some box on the inner wing (how will I replace this)....when I dump the old can...

Dont need to replace it, it is the vevnt to atmosphere, any oil which gets blown through the pipgets thrown back into the inlet
