what boost levels are the std big turbos up to producing/substaining?
mine is a std recon turbo technics are they any better than the factory fitted one?

29psi peak, 25psi held at the moment on a standard turbo, standard headgasket, etc...

TOUCH WOOD how long she will hold.

Also on T34, pretty far from a standard one tho.

Peaking at 32psi and holding 29/30 psi.

bet that goes well,

have got all bits for stg 3 now am taking it to karl to have it mapped/set up when have sorted a few problems out,
just wanted to know what to expect. and what the turbo would be happy at!

it would depend what compression your engine is running aswell!

if its standard, and say maybe with a decent intercooler, id day you should be able to see in the region of 24psi... which certainly wont go bad on a set of greens

Held 27.9psi... peaking at 31psi on light blues.
