what type of chips and what boost levels are you people running?

i'm running 1.2 bar bro, thats withe the uprated pump, reg, superchips chip also running a rs500 cooler and big alloy rad ...

about 1.2 bar (18psi) on a superchips plug in jobby, and a magnex full decat system which made a hell of a difference..

Suhe Motorsport piggy back ecu.
WRC head gasket.
Long stud and nut kit.
Uprated fuel pump. 3.5 - 4.0bar fuel pressure.
T28, 360 deg, checked every 250miles. (10 events).
Mongoose, only 1 box + HKS metal Kat, 3".
Plug gap 0.8mm
290ps
445Nm.
Sometimes suffer from Backfiring between gearchanges. should really fix this.

 

im running 1.4bar a stage 2 ggr chip mongoose pipe ggr cone filter upgraded pump + regulator and a big turbo ijntercooler with a pace chargecooler upgrade kit on it

 

I ran 18psi max when mine was a small turbo with an Ahmed chip & uprated fuel pump. Two well known tuners told me no more than that.

 

cheers for all the replies lads mine is running a superchip plug in and was only boostin at 12psi.. turned it up to 16psi and it goes a lot better... will have to get it set up properly somewhere....

Take it to a tuner mate, set the boost slightly lower than 18psi, then when you take it to a respectable tuner they can fiddle with whatever settings they want and set the boost to the correct levels for you!
