Default Launch control ?

Hi all,

After having a few problems, the car is now starting to come together, (i snapped a cam stud somehow) but Harvey has sorted that and set up my anti lag, (is anyone elses wiring by the passenger headlight in need of some TLC as this seems to be where many problems have stemmed from) but now i want to know about launch control, I have this facility on my car but it isnt set up, now i havent a clue how to get this set up either, can anyone point me in the right direction ?

Cheers
Richard

Glad it was just the stud!!! superb!!

Wiring behind the headlight?? have you not had the multiplugs removed? if not and Harvey still has the car get him to sort it for you or shell out on a nice new Pectel loom

On the launch control side of things... no sorry cant help... What is it Omex item??

When he told me it was just the cam stud, i felt just a bit happy !!

Harvey did tell me to sit down for a few hours and sort my wiring out, so thats a job for the weekend i have the horrible multi plugs but they need a bit of TLC and apparently, you cant buy new ones so i may look into a new loom, what sort of £££'s are we talking, i really must learn about Cossies now i have one

Again, not too sure on the launch control side of things, all i know is that it has the facility in the ECU, i know it restricts power to the transmission from a standing start but thats about it, and i plan to up the power in a few months on my Cossie, would like 470 bhp and over 400 ib/ft hence needing to sort the launch control out and other bits.

Best to cut thos large plugs off and solder the loom up...

One of the above will be in the order of 6-700 quid plus twat and labour, Good few hours IMO
