As above, was running it on 'Mobil 1 0W-40' with which it used to rattle slightly (noisy tappets??) until it warmed up fully and then totally quietened down once the temp gauge was pointing inbetween the O and the R on the word 'NORM'. I was recommended to give it an engine flush and switch to using 'Mobil 1 15W-50' and also to add a bottle of 'Forte Top End Treatment' whilst I'm changing the oil which I have done. In my opinion now though it has become worse as the rattle continues even when fully warmed up What am I to do, do I need a new set of tappets?

Try doing an oil change and then start using Castrol RS10/60 and see how it goes.

I was advised that exact same oil when I went to speak to the lads at 'Carwise UK' yesterday so yeah, thanks for that mate I'll be givin it a try
