hello

my mate owns a escoss, he have 2 engines avaiable for tuning.
one is from escort 205 block type, the other one is from sierra 200 type block.
which one of them is more tunable/stronger?
he is looking about 400bhp at flywheel, with T3/T4, bigger intercooler, 803cc inj. forgies down&under, maf,..etc.
the dilema comes with cams, any suggestions?

the 200 blocks are generally considered the better option

one other thing, my m8, just win an ebay auction for some escos cams.
the seller dont know nothing bout them, only that they were used in some rallycross car( escos of course), and they are L9 and L12 marks on them.
that's all, anybody knows what type/duration, could they be?

I think your friend will be needing grey injectors if he wants to see 400 bhp, I don't think you can gain that from 803's, and definately would not be safe.
I personally wouldn't bother fitting other cams for 400 bhp.

Quite a bit of headwork and bigger valves I reckon, as above greys or similar though, T3/4/ A/R.63 Lowered compression 200 blcok
