Hi,

I have an Escort Cos (large turbo)
Problem is i broke down yesterday and it wont fire up again

I was just driving,i pulled into a petrol station,filled up and when i went to start it it was just turning over but no final spark to make it run

Has anyone got any idea what i could check

Hi Chris, Chances are it could be the ignition amplifier which is fastened to the nearside inner wing or the distributor internals.I would also check the multiplugs under the engine bay are clear of corrosion. ALLTHE BEST FREGO
