I'm now upgrading my big turbo escort and I'm changing the turbo actuator.The new one is 31 and the old one is the original but they are different in lenght.How should I set the boost?

 

set it so that the new one is about a quarter of the diamater of the hole in the rod is visible when placed next the the rod it goes over without pulling at it. then take it out with a boost gauge on and ajust up (shorten the rod) as necessary
