Hi Escycott The door builds come from a company called audioscape ,phenix gold amp and sub , phenix gold front componants, took the original tweeters out and put the phenix gold ones in, took out the original front speakers, look at my car at www.lmcaraudio.com think it still has the kenwood set up on there site.
all the stuff was bought from there, and they done the boot build. lee (owner of LM car audio ) is my nephew, mention my name and he will do you a good deal

I want to replace the standard front speakers with custom fit items for my esc cos
Any idea which in-car brands (infinity, jbl etc...) sell these?

What is it about Pheonix Gold
I have the same amp as above, the big 5 channel one, running the Sub, front 6.5'' components, and rear 5.25'' Co-ax's, hidden in a false floor in the boot. I still have the jack and all that crap still. The spare wheel is there, although it will not fit over front or rear brakes
Under the spare wheel is a big lump aswell that cannot be removed. The Esc cossy boots are not as deep as std escort ones.
With this stealthy install , there is still room for pushchair and shopping!!!!

think i'm gonna have to do something like cossymad
for the sub boxes, mine is to suit a false floor i have
but its too heavy imo, shame as its a realy nice piece of kit,
the box is resined fluted plastic & quite light weith
hopefully i can mod it ? to place em in the corners
soz cossymad not going to entirly nick your idea

thats my plan too - the ice install was already half done when i bought the car
so once i finnish it & let all the nova squad near me hear it i will sell it!!

seems a bit backward but the install is v. nice & did cost the previous
owner alot

so will be on the look out for standard door cards & rear seat side panels soon
anyone got any ?
