Im possibly thinking of buying my mates engine for my Escort Cosworth, It is very big spec
ported and polished 4x4 head, bd14 and bd10, double valve springs etc.. 200 block with 10 long studs, forged pistons with valve cut outs.
The compression ratio is standard tho, 8:6:1 i think.. will i be able to run my Gt30 turbo? Im wanting around the 500 Bhp mark, will this be acheiavle and will i be able to run the boost to get this.. around 30 - 34 psi??
Any advice would be great! Thanks

It is possible and won't be a problem people run stg3 with 32psi on standard pistons.
they are good for 500bhp, but if you have to build the engine back up get some forged jobbies there only about £600
