hey Guys
thinking of buying me an free mapable ECU
Haltech E8 would be my choice.
I would like to make the loom by myself, but
does anyone know what sensors can be adopted and used and which ones have to be changed?
It would be very helpful.
as well as it would be a good idea to change WM technics to spark on plugs like the small turbo escort had stock? what further parts would have to be bought?
getting rid of dizzy: cam sensor and what else?
Thanks for your knowledge!!

Hello
Im running my t25 escort on a Megasquirt 2 ecu. It controls the original edis and also controls the fuel injection. After i made a adaptor board i put into a original eciiv 4 modul, the whole thing is plug and play on the original wiring loom.
I guess it would be possible to do this with the Haltek also. There are only 2 signals needed to control the edis modul, so its really easy way of controling the ignition.

You can use alle the original sensors, but if you want to do the best for the engine then minimum buy a 36-1 cranck wheel, use the one from the t25 and use the std cranck-sensor also, all works just fine with it.
This setup you can run semi sequential with and if you add the cam sensor from the t25 also then you can run waste-fire or full sequential on ignition also.
The new haltech E11 can also run std cosworth setup 4-2 tooth, they have build that into the software now
