Default 200 block with nikasil liners

hi, does anyone knows how much boost a 200 block with nikasil liners can take because i 've heard that it is safe up to 50psi ! is this true? what do you think?

50 psi on one turbo is not the same as 50 psi on another one.. so you can't use that figure as a valid metric, unless you have all the other constants in the picture.

i was going to use a garrett GT35 or GT37 turbo

The block will be ok for that type of boost but there are many other things that are needed engine wise and cooling, And then again its how long you want it to last and what you are doing with it,
So your question is a little open ended but yes it can be done.

Hi Mark,

what's the limit on standard liners if we say using the same said turbo? (and everything else is set to cope)

Couldnt say for sure, I prefer to do the liners over 550hp but you should not realy have a problem over 600hp.
