Dual Ball Bearing "GT30/GT40R" Turbo assembly. T3 style inlet flange with 4 bolt T31 style exit. This turbo incorporates the same exact GT40 compressor wheel found in the popular GT35/40R, but runs the smaller 60mm w/84 trim turbine wheel from the GT30R. Appropriate for smaller engine where the GT35/40R feels too big, but the high amount of compressor flow is needed for the desired HP and boost levels. Large T04S style compressor housing with 4.00 inlet and 2.50" outlet. This turbo has a flow capacity of about 600HP.
Turbine
-Wheel: 60mm w/ 84 trim
-Housing: .63 ar, .82 ar, 1.06 ar
-Maps
Compressor
-Wheel: 82mm w/ 56 trim
-Housing: .70

flow capacity of about 600bhp if you've got the ideal setup
I still believe you'd have to go gt35 for 600bhp on a cosworth. Would be interesting to see a dyno print with that gt30.

560 bhp IS achived on the cranck by a cossie engine with a gt30.
and 734bhp IS achived by a gt35 so it is possible
What i´m wondering about is that everybody talk about drivabillity???
Drivabillity and a 500+ cossie engine is long gone, with that much hp you can only make it as good as possible, but drivable, no.

not driveable? I just read about AJC's car in fastford and iirc that was described as the ultimate roadcar. Porkies 3dr was driven by his mother afaik with ease so I guess they can be made driveable if you know how to spec.
I don't want to disagree to much about the numbers claimed here but I guess they are dyno numbers? I recently read about a GT30 escort here in Norway. 520+ flywheel bhp on the dyno. It made around 400 atw when the car hit the rollers..
That was a 3076 iirc.
Of course it comes down to what's hooked up to the dyno, ic, exhaust etc.. I'd like to see the graphs if someone's got them?
And to be clear: I'm not arguing it can be done, I've just haven't seen the results![Pthbbbb](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/smile045.gif)
And we are talking ATW figures here..

I watch him do his 11.9 at Pod this summer (from inside the tower, which was well cool!!) and i have seen his car on the road. The setup allows the car to be driveable but also insane when he wants it.
Actually - I need a passenger ride!!!!!!!!

Tore: i know what you mean, but a real 500+ engine is not drivable as a 330kit engine, that´s what i mean.
My girlfriend drowe my wild spec gt35 cossie in high heels without any truble, but there is NO power until u rev it past 3500rpm, and then it only comes slowly.
Drivable is not unstable standstill @ 1200rpm, clutch that is on/off etc etc
I know a gt30 is WAY better spool up, but to make 500 genuine horses it takes some spec of an engine.
And yes, andy´s is a good one to bring up, and only on bd14´s also

yeah andy (AJC) has got an immense escos, as tom said you wont believe how smooth the power delivery is until you actually go in it, i couldent believe how much more driveable and smoother the GT30 seemed compared to a T4.
