A drivers side front wing for Escort Cosworth, some idiot decided to drive into mine and not leave details so its upto me to sort it all out :-(

 

get a pic up mate it may be verry repairable and if so its better for longgevity than changing it

iv just done a lexus that looked fucked but its just the time to straiten it that puts body shops off doing it

 

If you can get the wing repaired thats the way to go cos you wont get the bead of sealer on the wing to slam panel to look original. Get a pic up for us to have a look at first be for you go and buy mate.

New ones are still available from Ford as far as i know, I checked 1 or 2 years ago and they had lots in stock.

 

as above fords stil stock them

 

AFAIR they had something like several hundred so no risk of running out of them anytime soon.

 

I checked a few months ago and was told that the passenger ones were still available but the driver's side ones weren't.

 

I think sometimes UK dealers say something is not available when it's not in the Ford UK warehouse but in one of german ones.

m8 that could be repaired. might be worth speaking to jacko that posted above. he seem's to get a lot of praise on here for his bodywork. might be a bit away from you but would be better in the long run to get somebody that understand's it's a lot more than an old escort..

 

Have got a wing now guys, North Yorkshire RS spares. £200...

the more annoying point is that someone did this to the car and drove off so its all out of my pocket :-(

that would repair very easily!
