Did you unplug both headlights when you done the test? A backfeed through the another bulb can throw you a mile. Check for corroded bulbs and fuses, I had an RS turbo which was trailered 100 miles all because the owner had a corroded fuse fitted, looked intact but was good for nowt. If you need more help PM me

Have you treid simply running an extra earth wire to the battery terminal for example? If it works just run another to a solid body part - preferably out of the way and dry.

Hi had the same problem with mine going out. Checked everything, turned out it was the white plug at the light, fiddled about with it for a bit and hey-presto. it came back on.

take the bulb out and plug the connector in, then try a peice of wire fron a good earth point on car and touch the metal outer part of the bulb and see if it lights up. This should tell you if you have bad earth to the cluster.
