Default Insurance

Hi guys

How comes these things are so much to insure still? Bearing in mind I've just come from a 380 bhp Evo 8, which cost me £1100 to insure fully comp (no no-claims - all tied up in my Focus & daily driver) the cheapest I've had so far for a 300bhp Escos is £1750 - WTF!!!!!!!

I'll pay it if I have to, but does anyone know of someone more reasonable?

The above was with Adrian Flux and I'm 30 years young btw!

adrian flux was the same with me over a grand on the phone i'm 27 with 6 points , as all my no claims was on my misses daily driver golf 1.8t , they sent me a email and came back with a classic policy for me on my 91 saff , and mirrored my no claims discount cos they could see i had driven performance cars before , 450 inc breakdown & windscreen but it was on a 5k mile policy . do a intermet enquiry with adrian flux it may be worth a go , it was for me .
