Default Boot floor bubble

has anyone ever cut out the bubble in the boot floor which is there for the fuel tank?

just wondered who has taken the job on atall, cut it out and replaced it with a flat panel section

now you mention it kelv ask danny to do it while is booked in, spoke him yesterday mines booked in he said he's done it loads before, he's not doing mine but he can do it my mate will be doing mine ...

just gives a better platform for the fuel tank to go onto.

will have to wait and see, few more options and thoughts today, car may end up staying of the road this year

All and good loosing the buldge, but you would have to revert to the interior fuel tank i imaging...

not if you ge a custom cell costly but worth it in many ways

Glen mate, i dont have a standard fuel tank in my car anymore.

Fuel cell is about to be made etc, thats why i was thinking of having the buldge removed.

Mines done not the best picture but you get the idea! Got a spare replacement panel around here somewhere as well, not that its hard to make.

yeh know you mean Adamski and kelv, if mine was a track car, would def think about having it removed for the fuel cell.
It did get in the way of my sub box tho when i had one in there... lol
but now houses a lovely standard cossy rim as a spare.
Would never see my car on that spacesaver.
