Battery warning light stays on
All electronics are functioning normally, new alternator, new battery, but the battery warning light still stays on.
I think it must be an wiring issue, may be a grounding issue.....
Thoughts anybody!
Cheers

is the alternator providing enough juice to the batter?
the light works by providing a resistance and when the alternator pushes more through the other way th elight goes out
so do a double check

But when you measure the voltage going to the battery, it remains the same when the light is on or off......

so when measureing the voltage at the abttery it's the same at idle as it is at 1200+rpm?
i would go with the blue wire theory then, it's probably got a break in it somewhere and when you go above a certain rpm the movement of the engine probably makes the connection better and so it goes out
out with the multimetre i'm afraid, it'll be an easy fix but it'll probably be the last wire you check in the bowels of the engine loom
