Is this rare?
I thought they would be worth a lot just due to it being a Homologation one.

I could be wrong, but think this means it was one of the first 2500 cars built so Ford could go racing in them.

As these are the earliest cars, I don't think they are worth more.

I may be wrong but 93 seems a bit late for a homologation car. Didn't the first 2500 also have a non-functional water injection system with the bag in the boot or under the back seat?

 

my car has one of them bags in the boot for the water injection i think its the only difference in them, my car was first reged in 19992 on a K plate

 

I have all the water injection gear in the boot etc too, mines a 93 so I assume a lot were built and registered as and when

 

what does the water injection look like? any pics?

 

When I was prepping my car for concours last year I took loads of pics and this included all the pumps under the rear seats, it's in my thread somewhere in the link below as are pictures of the water injection bag as I have it out in my boot.

just how many were rhd or lhd and the various colours made i have
yet to find out.
any that were made and not registered in 92 would obviously then
make it look a 93, unless you go into build code data.

if your passionate about rally escort cosworths and appreciate
