I have been told by 3 different RSOC Committee members that the Spares Reman role was no longer a viable position as in the 3 years that the role has been there NOT A SINGLE NEW PART HAS BEEN RE-MANUFACTURED.................... Despite god knows how many free jollies and piss ups at the expense of the members of the club.
Then all of a sudden, the role was resurrected by the Chairman.... I was going to ask the RSOC Chairman why this was but he banned me again cos he does not like anyone to ask questions and get to the truth.........

the spares reman role is an important job within the rsoc, not only does he look after the spares stock, but tries to get new parts made the major problem with the job is money or lacl of it to develop new tooling/production cost for the spares to be made.
hence why we have seen no reman spares for years
Had a good chat with John taylor the other day ironed a few things out and I wish him well in his application for the above post.
