Default Radiator hose wanted.

Hi ,could any one tell me of the best quality radiator hoses to use on my escort cosworth.?
Also where is the best place to order them from .

The one coming out if the thermostat housing split on me.

Luckily i was round the corner from a scrap yard when it happened, so i did a roadside repair on it to get me home.

Looks as if the two rad hoses are standard items.

Thanks In advance ,Tim

I would say to replace them with Samco or Roose Silicon Hoses tbh.

I am not sure if you can buy the original ones from ford now

Hi ,thanks for your reply.

I am not worried about them being standard items.

In fact uprated ones would be better i would imagine./

Thanks again,Tim

Wow! thanks for your replies lads.

Took it out today for a run and my tempory repair is holding well, not sure how long for though.

Incedently there is a ford parts depo not to far from me so i called in when i had a minute this afternoon .

They had them listed as still being availible, but as the larger intercooler and others have been changed i mays well go for the samco type ones.

Incedently what is a t28 and t35.?
Is that the type of radiator?

As you may gather escort cosworths are new to me having being into old skool stuff for years.

Many thanks again,Tim

t28 is the smaller turbo found on the later model escorts, the earlier cars had the t35 turbo fitted

Thanks The Rad man.

It is a later model ,but has had a larger turbo fitted.

Does this affect the "size" of the radiator pipes then?

Thanks Tim
