Default Head gasket problems

My head gasket went on my car 2 Fridays ago, now the problem i have im unsure of. I know i need a new headgasket, belt and thermostat due to the car overheating.

What could be causing the head gasket to blow? is this how the car was overheating then?

Im currently running around 390BHP and my main concern was that maybe the standard motorcraft gasket wasnt able to cope with what was happening with the car.

Im currently running Autronic ECU with Anti Lag and Launch Control. Could one of these have been a problem?

I have heard a report that to fit a Group A head gasket my head would need worked on regardless.

Who im i best to approach as to reagards a head gasket for my car? I currently have my car booked in for the next steps to take the car to 500BHP with a GT30 turbo i think with all the usual diffs, etc all getting uprated.

Would i need a different Head gasket on for that power?

All help is gratefull as im stuck here without it.

Just to add i think my problem was due to the thermostat closing and not reopening therefore the car was overheating. Would this have been caused with my fans not coming on therefore my car was having to overheat?

The fans not coming on would have caused it to over heat, it may have
warped the head slightly enuff for the gasket to leak.

The also errode over time, mine looked fine till you took it off and there
was a small split along one edge.

I would say for 500 BHP you need a three layer, with the head skimmed
to make sure its flat and the block checked for flatness aswell.

I have seen cosworth heads that are rotten, they need major welding
and skimming to get it reusable
i would want the head checked over properly so it does not go again
