Default speedometer

when the lights on the cossy are on, the illumination is ok, but i have a lot of black dots in the speedo. probably dust. also the milageindicator numbers are quite dirty.

how to clean, because when open i can't reach them to give it some good cleaning.

or should i buy another one.

???

The spots are actually moisture that has got in and destroyed the EL layer in the faces....

You can get new dial kits from here....

I removed the mileage readout from the speedo and used a cotton bud. BUT I think I used too much force sliding the bud through the gap, ended up moving the mileage 2000km back

Just hope the future owner don't mind me messing around with the mileage. After a good clean, I can now see the mileage in the dark
