Just spoken with a friend that has one installed, he has been told by the company that installed it that you need to make sure you have the Tracker serviced on a regular basis. How many people aren't told this.

This check up involves the tracker company testing the Tracker & making sure the battery backup is working as it should. Tracker were able to tell him how many times his main car battery had gone flat etc through their system. Very clever !

They also mentioned other things to make sure that you do to maintain the unit in full working order but I'm not going to post that on a web site. If you have one ask Tracker to check your units out, you'll be glad you did.

 

i didnt know that but know mine definately works,

after being accidently activated by RAC,

i was chased by 3 police volvos, it was a bit different

There's more to it than what I put in the post, if you have a tracker monitor its worth getting them to test the system regularly.Once a year etc.We pay enough money for it.

 

-THEY CAN TEST FROM BASE NO NEED TO GET THEM OUT!!!!-THEY KNOW WHERE MY CAR IS ALL THE TIME-THE WAY TO TEST IS TURNING THE KEY AND WAITING FOR THE PHONE CALL FROM THEM TO YOUR MOBILE !!! -----BATTERY GOING FLAT ON TRACKKER!!! NO WAY-------- HAD MINE FOR YEARS NO PROBLEM--------- RECHARGABLE IN THE SYSTEM!!!!

 

Your correct atleast in part. I never said they had to come out to test it
As for the battery never going flat you'll might be surprised, it should be recharagable yes but only when the engine is running & it see's above 13.5 v. Nothing works for ever. Thats why you should have the battery replaced every 5 yrs according to the paper work.
