just a shame they are as weak as hell.

 

ive got a set of the 8x18 ones

i just sent them away to get refurbished,hope they dont find any cracks in them

I have them on the Escos, I love them but..

When they were refurbed, we found two small cracks

Still had em welded up now. so tis all good till next time..

they are a gorgeous looking wheel, i was so reluctant to let them go, but after having them welded up in excess of 10 times over the last couple of years proved far to much for me.

almost everyone ive known whos had a set has had to have some welding work carried out on them at some point.

being that they are a alloy/mag mix - the magnesium doesnt age quite so well and becomes brittle, the powdercoating process doesnt help the situation - baking them to quite a high temp only speeds up the deterioration of the magnesium!
