I'm going Anal again :-( ...... UPDATE
So much for me buying a car i can use and not worry about..................
..................
................
I decided to send my car in for a few tweeks and a set of tappets and things have gone anal again
I have now decided to have a freshen up by taking the engine out , get things powder coated, all new seals, top end rebuild, possible low comp bottom end ( Depending on CASH ) new header tanks, breather system, hoses, Suspension etc etc
While thats happening, im sending the car for paint to include the full engine bay . Ive decided to write this year off now with the car and concentrate is making her mint for next year!
Looks like my usable car is becomming an orniment again

you might aswell Karl while its out.
i have ended up going the same route.
engine and box was out out so it was stupid not to get it all done while out,it needs the odd little dents sorting out and the rear spoilers needed doing.
not going to go as far as you though as i use mine.....hard.

I thought it was a bit strange to break it, the car looks stunning and you've not had it long
Good luck with the project, stick a post up in the restorations room so we can all keep an eye on it
