has anyone actually dared to add their receipts up to see how much theyve actually spent on their car? i have a wad about 2 1/2" thick, but i darent add them up

 

lol- not a chance- i don't want to add them up already, and i've only spent about 2.5k

in the last 3 years alone theres this lot-

1 x New engine
1 x Big Tooth Ford msport gearbox
Ahmed springs and rear beam conversion
Koni Dampers
poly bushes all round etc

thats with out what i spent 3.5 yrs before hand!

 

i have them all but i would NEVER add them up, it will only depress me

worth every penny though ( what ever that may be )

 

think ive cleared just over 18k, thats without adding up reciepts.

had this conversation with Efe a while back, he shocked me when he said his was heading towards 75k

 

over 11k in 6 years
and my car isn't really that different to standard compared to some

 

11k isnt so bad mate, especially staggered over 6 years.

my 18k is over the last 9 months

actually, that makes me feel bad now

Engine £5000
Management £1000
Turbo/wastegate £1000
Brakes £1000
Suspension £1000
Front Diff £1600
Rear Diff £1000
Wheels £700
Stack £1000
Defi's £700
Eboost £500
Kevlar/carbon panels £500
Dash and interior flocking £300

And thats without the extra little bits thats still to come, having boost pipes made, water hoses, odd clips, heatshileds, powdercoating, carbon splitter etc - seats and harnesses and the big expense to come of the gearbox!!

I have every fuel receipt since i got the car back in the year 2000. Each one is 40 quid ish. Shittin myself to add them up

glad its not just me then thats spent a fortune problem is when you sell them you never get anywhere near the amount youve invested in them

 

Yeah but you cant put a price on the thrill,pleasure and feeling they give you especially when 2 ferrari owners give you the nod like today

 

I've got a spreadsheet on mine including buying the fucker... its only going up!

 

I've spent about £25K on mine over the past 6 years. That's not including the cost of the car.

I spent about £7k in a year on my blue one and i'm expecting to spend about £5k on my black one within the next month or so and thats only starters

Personally I have spent over £15k in 4 and half years

 

thats a lot of dosh boys!!!! you may consider 10-20k to get your head seen to while your at it-----but keep the reciept-lol
