Not posted for a while as I had feel out with my motor, but we've made up and now Im on the route to getting it better!

So quick question, are there two types of distributors for the Large Turbo Cosworth, one with a normal stem height as fitted on the Sierra Cosworths and one with a smaller stem height presumably the right one for the Escort? And if so the are there two sorts of brackets that hold the distributor in place?

The reason I ask is that IVe bought a new dizzy for mine and it is a lot shorter than the one I took off, at the time I though great I wont get my hands beet to shit when I take the cap on or off... however the bracket and screw I took off wont fit, for starters the screw wont even fit in the height of the stem for the new dizzy... So have I bought the wrong dizzy, or am I just being thick?

 

Got any piccies or dimensions, I have my sapphy dizzy in bits in me kitchen at the mo so can soon check for you.
