a little bird has just told me that its behind the actual bulbs in the instument cluster.....
now then, one for stu really,,, the tacho mod that is done to the back of the clocks... what 2 pins do we bridge... it maybe compleyelt unrelated, but ive just put 2 and 2 together and got 5 - ist probably abou the same time they stopped working when the coilpack tacho mod was done,, do you know what we lifted or grouned... could we now be stopping current from getting to the warning module...??

Hi Dave,
On teh tach we actually just remove a pull down resistor by bypassing it, so the original signal reaches the tach motordrive in a better state than originally as the clocks are designed to work with a 300V input signal which is pulled down to about 1v at teh motor and we are only providing about 180ish so require less fitering ideally.
Almost definately nothing to do with your problem Dave, sorry pal.
