the referance comapnie is aquamist http://www.aquamist.co.uk/

but honnestly you can use another type of pump such as the "WRC flojet" that you can purchase from many companies like R&B motorsport.
I've also discover another USA made pump on eBay very cheap but I've tested yet.. (I'm a bit worry but it may worse a try)
Whatever I would suggest to supply the jets, filter, checkvalve from aquamist.

To control the pump the best to me is a SECS monitor as it'll be done by ACT and Boost and you'll get a very usefull tool to keep an eye on most of your engine's sensors

Yep the other option,if your car is chipped is to ask the tuner to enable this feature directly on your ECU. then it'll also be controled on ACT and Boost basis. you'll have to had a wire on the ECU plug but no big deal

Yeah, but if you have SECS and you want to fit your own system, what are data levels (air temp. and boost pressure) recommanded ?
And what is diameter nozzle to fit ?
Water pressure ? Can you use beam water pump ?
Anybody knows ?

Regards.

As fare as I know the most common setup is 40°C and 4psi
atmo I'm using the supplied package on the escort that means two head lamp wash pump in serial and a 1mm jet. (with a real alloy tank in the boot)
I'm considering to buy one of the pumps I've talked above and putting a smaller jet (0.8).

I've also modified the head lamp washing system by adding a second pump, a filter and a checkvalve, to make an external spray system.
(I've Morretts so I didn't needing it anymore)
this one in simply controled by a pressure switch set @ 15psi (1b) that I activate when the outside t° is above 25°C and when I push my baby.

I have an aquamist system 1 s on my car. GGR tell me to use 0.7 mm water jet and set it to start above 1.2 bar
Now my pump is dead. I don't understand why many humidity appears in it and destroy electronic card

The Aquamist pump is renowned for reliability issues, hence why I use the WRC Flojet items (see my website) .

Hi Glurbs (Marc)

Are you sure that your water pump was above hight water level in reservoir ?
And that your pump water banjo was under electrical pump components ?

Regards.

Hi Claude,

With the Aquamist pump " the lowest water level inside the tank should be higher tan the water pump"
And water flow pass through the pump...

http://www.aquamist.co.uk/cp/cp.html and "download 1s fitting tips"
